Bunny peing on me

Hi there,
I have a 3 month old bunny (dwarf/lionhead cross) who I have had for almost a month. Lately he has been peeing on me almost everytime I am holding him or petting him.  Why is he doing this and how can I stop him besides obviously not holding him or picking him up!?

I would suspect he has hit sexual maturity and he is marking you as his territory/friend.

You will need to go to a good rabbit vet, have the vet confirm he is sexually mature and in good health, and schedule him to be neutered.

The key is to go to a good rabbit vet.  Not all vets are equal when it comes to rabbits.  If you don't already have one, go to:

and find a House Rabbit Society recommended vet near you.

It will take about a month or so after the neuter procedure for his hormone levels to stabilize at their new, lower levels.  You should see some behavior changes within the first week or two.
