breeding rabbitts

i have a minnie doe lop and an adult male lop can i breed them i have tried putting her in the hutch with the male but nothing seems to happen they just sniff around do you have to keep putting them together until you know something has happend thanks sharon

hi sharon-the doe needs to be resceptive and a good way to know she is in season is that they get very grumpy -wait until you feel this and then introduce the male to the doe .
once they mate -it takes about 60seconds remove the buck and carry on as usual
