Toby: waxy scab

Question
While recently playing with my year old  male lion head dwarf rabbit i noticed
a scab/ waxy feeling thing on his neck. Toby is a house bunny who hangs
out in his cage when i am not home (i also have two cats and only allow them
to play with my supervision) He is acting normal, eating, happy, and has all
the same habits. He lets me touch it and look at it. I was just wondering what
this could be?

Dear Jennifer,

Without seeing it, I can't know for sure.  But it could be a scab from his scratching at something irritating.  He might have fleas or mites, and this could warrant a trip to a good rabbit vet who can examine him and see if he needs to be treated with Revolution.
