Question
My rabbit delivered four kits three weeks ago. when I Opened the shed to feed them this morning one of the kits has vanished from its nesting box I can't see it anywhere and can only think that mum has eaten it as there is no way in or out of the locked shed at night. What can I do to prevent further deaths?

Answer
Dear Louise,

There's no way a mama bunny would kill and eat a three week old baby.  I'll bet the baby is still in the shed somewhere, wedged tightly where he can't get out, perhaps.

Please have a *very* close look at the smallest, most unlikely places.  Baby rabbits have a way of sneaking into extremely tiny places and getting stuck, which is a horrible way to die.

I hope the baby turns up, and all is fine.
