leg burn

My rabbit jumped into hot tea and its one leg is swollen now. please  tell me what is the right thing to do??

Dear Geetu,

Apply ice compresses to the injured leg and keep a close eye on it.  Try to find a vet who can provide pain management, such as metacam:

If the bunny got his foot out of the tea immediately, it's probably just a superficial burn.  I hope so.  But it would be best to get him to a good vet for a checkup, to be sure he doesn't need antibiotics if the burn is more serious.
