Question
QUESTION: Hi

6 rabbits that we believe are siblings were being housed at my stable together. The stablehand left and left behind his rabbits. They are a mix of males and females and are not fixed. We took in two females. One (Abby) we know is pregnant and the other (Gracie) we guess is pregnant, just because in the short time we rescued her, we witnessed her being mounted by the males several times.
I have a few questions, as I am new at this.
1) Is it ok to keep the 2 females together? What about when Gabby kindles? Will Gracie hurt the babies?
2) Since they probably bred with their brothers, will the babies be disformed or unhealthy?
3) The males continued to mount the girls even when they were pregnant. Is this bad for the babies?
Thank you!

ANSWER: hi Lauren firstly all pregnant does should be on their own in separate cages .
if kept together one would surely kill the others babies.
all baby's should be normal but no good for showing.
keep all the bucks well away from the does.
