Rabbit.

Hello,

I have a large rabbit and she is 4. She has had allot of strange things happen this year mainly to do with her mind, a dementia type illness anyway I was wondering how long a rabbit can live on critical care supplement food which is mixed with water? For you see my rabbit is on this alone as she has stopped eating but due to this and other medications being given she hasn't developed bloat. I am worried that her body wont survive on critical care alone but its been 2 days now?? and all seems well  Can you please tell me what you think.

Also she has been leaving a sticky clear trail like a snail from her mouth/nose/privates. I washed her but its returned and she is very tired more lethargic only taking a few steps then resting. I have tried everything to make her happy and the only thing that has worked is her hotwater bottle. She isn't in pain or grinding her teeth. Right now she is sleeping with her eyes shut but I was wondering if pneumonia linked into the symptoms I have described?? As she has made some strange noises.

hi Ryan in my opinion she will not last long on supplement foods she needs to be eating good food to increase her energy and from what you say is happening from her mouth/nose/privates, does not sound very good at all.
i would try to find something she liked eating and give her some has she needs to build up some energy.
