clogged eye duct

how can i cure my rabbits clogged tear duct?

Dear Monique,

There is a cream called Terramycin Ophthalmic ointment. It comes in a little yellow tube (at least what I get!), and you should be able to find it at a farm supply store, or possibly even a pet store.
Use it two to three times a day for three to four days. To use it, gently squeeze the corners of the rabbit's lower eyelid until the lid is away from the eyeball. Put a dab of ointment on your finger (you could do it with the tube, but I am always afraid I will poke the eye!)and wipe it carefully onto the edge (as much on the inside as you can) of the lid.
