New Piggy Parent - Piglet tried to bite me

Question
Hi,
We are new to owning a pot belly pig baby.
Our Daughter got her for me - Prunella Pea is 6 weeks old today.
Last night my daughter and I sprayed our hands with kitten flea spray and was rubbing it on her because we saw two fleas on her - next thing I know she snapped her head and tried to bite me. She did this twice.

I have read that you are not to smack a pig for any reason so what am I supposed to do if she does this again??
Can she draw blood or break skin?

I have more questions about raising a house pig but this is the most important thing I need help with.

Thank You
Ellen

Answer
Baby piglets are very "oral".
If this happens many more times, a firm tap on the end of the snout with a NO warning first could be tried. Use the palm of your hand. Then PRAISE her when she is not nipping.
