Hello i have a 1 year old pbp and he is perfect in every way// but i am concerned because we are going on a holiday soon for 8 days and so i am going to hire a pig sitter to feed and walk ect  is there anything i deed to know // i will bring the sitter in before we go so that they will know each other // really i think piggy will be upset // with me over this we have never been apart  before

Pigs are creatures of habit, and as a general rule, they don't like changes in routine. But if the sitter takes good care of him, he'll be fine. Depending on his personality, he might be a little timid when you come home, or he might be very excited to see you. And it might take him a little while to readjust to his old routine.

Pigs are smart and can definitely tell time - they know when it's dinner time! So, take a few moments to explain to your pig that you're going to go away, and how long you'll be gone, and that the sitter will take care of him during that time. Use a casual, relaxed tone of voice, especially when introducing him to the sitter, and when telling him good bye before you leave.
