Answer
Pot-bellied pigs have three sets of teeth in their lives. They are born with the first set, called needle teeth. The second set begins to come in when piggies are about 12 weeks old. Piggy should have all his adult teeth when he is about 2-1/2 years old.

When new teeth come in, the old teeth fall out. Because your piggie is at the age when he'll be loosing his second set and growing his final set, I believe you're finding the baby teeth.

Piggy tusks are actually ivory, and will grow for piggy's whole life. But piggy teeth are like human teeth. If the final, permanent teeth break or fall out, they won't grow back.

If you can, take a peek inside piggy's mouth. Do it at sleepy time. Get piggy down for a belly rub, and when he's relaxed, gently work your hand up towards his mouth, and try to peek inside. Sometimes putting just a bit of sugar on your fingers helps. Feel around for gaps or swelling. Chances are, you'll feel little stubs of the new teeth growing into any gaps.
