I had to start a new question (wouldn't allow follow up question).

The meds are in pill form.  Bactrim DS 800-160.  PLZ see if you can find out how we can break this down.

I'm so worried that we don't have much time to take care of this.  What are we looking at here (approx time before death)?

Its hard to say.  The infection can spread, may take days so dont worry.


I have to make a call and see if this can be mixed with water and cannot do this until after 2pm PT and I am on EST.

If I cant find a way to break it down, he will need a vet. I wish I had better news.  Do you have any friends that have small children that may have been sick recently that maybe they have some medication in liquid form, even liquid amoxil?
