Sneezing Young Rats

Question
I have two rat babies, I am guessing about 6 to 8 weeks old that are sneezing, Inky and Peaches.  I got Peaches first, I saved her from becoming snake food. After reading up on rats I acquired a second female rat baby, Inky.  Inky started sneezing soon after I brought her home.  I took her to the vet and he prescribed Baytril 22.7 MG/ML by mouth 0.05 ml every 12 hours for 7 days.  Inky weighed a little over 100 grams.  He said that Peaches would likely be sneezing soon also.  She started sneezing that evening.  The vet was not a rat expert, so I just wanted a second opinion about the treatment he recommended.  Does this treatment sound right to you?  Will they be prone to sneezing in the future?  They were both destined to be snake food, so they were not cared for in the beginning as they should have.  I haven't had the girls very long but have become very attached to them.  They are both very playful and love to run around on the sofa and give kisses. They have been eating well.

Answer
Since they have been on the medication, are they still sneezing?   Usually baby rats new to their home sneeze while getting used to all of the new smells.  If they came from a bad pet store, which usually feeder rats do, they probably were kept on pine litter which can irritate lungs.  When removed from pine, they usually sneeze for a while to rid their nasal passages of the irritants. This doesnt always mean they are sick though.
