what is my rat doing

Question
I have a female rat, about a year and a half old. In the last couple weeks she has moved her bed to a different part of the cage. I have also noticed dry blood on her nose and tell on a couple different occasions and she has been making repeated short grunt/squeak noises, but she is usually relatively quite. She also is less social than normal. Is there something wrong with her or am I overreacting?

Did your rat move her nest  to a higher location or down lower in the cage?

Also, the red discharge you think is blood is probably porphyrin discharge as seen in the photo on the side.  Please read my website, Sandyscrittercity.com and refer to the page on blood-like discharge from the rats eyes and nose.
