Finding an Appropriate Vet

Question
We have two rats that we purchased at a pet store in April.  They have both become an integral part of the family.  My question is about finding a vet.  Over the last two weeks I have called many vets in the area and they are all willing to see my pet rats, but none of them has disclosed their experience with rats and that makes me uncomfortable.  Can you recommend someone in my area?  Nashua, NH. It would be nice to know that when we have a problem there will be someone with expertise that we can call on. Thank you very much

This place, as per the Yahoo driving directions, is about 44 minutes from your town. Usually I find that it is closer than the distance suggested, but either way, Dr. Messenger has a very    good reputation with small exotic companion mammals, including rats. As a matter of fact, to be sure this was the same Veterinarian, I went ahead and called, telling the receptionist I was interested in finding out more about Dr, Messenger and his experience with rats and I was told he sees them often and treats them for everything.  
Let me know if this is just too far to consider and I can look for another one. He is one of the best Vets in your area for rats.
