rat bandage jacket

One of our rats is in a viscious circle.of.licking her scabs on her back so that they are impossible to heal and we think if we could bandage her so she cant turn to reach them it may help.. do u have any ideas..

I do.  Bandaging a rat is quite tricky because they are so good at squeezing their way out of anything and do not like to have anything attached to their bodies and will try to remove it.  There is one good method of bandaging a rat that won't restrict their bloodflow and is secured in a way that prevents a rat from squirming out of it.  I have never personally done this type of bandaging, but it comes highly recommended by rat experts.

It is a bit complicated, but it should do the trick.  Try to get someone to help you hold your rat while the bandage is applied.  Good luck, I hope this works to help heal your rat's scabs.
