Possible Abscess

OKay. I have a male hairless lil under a year old. he has 2 crater looking abscesses. He does not let me touch him, let alone the wounds. I have been giving him baytril and applying trible anti cream. They do have a lump under them and seem to get bigger in the past few days. He will go to the vet on tuesday. But is there anything I can do at home untill then? Do u know what they are?

If they have craters in them, they probably already popped once before. Is there an odor at all to them?
If he doesnt let you touch him, I guess trying to gently express them is out of the question?  Does he let you handle him otherwise but just wants you to leave his wounds alone?
They sound like abscesses to me but they could also be tumors that have abscessed, but something tells me they are abscesses. Where are they located?

How long as he had them?  Are there scabs on them? WHen you put the antibiotic cream on, can you try to gently press below the base of the lump and try to get the pus out?  

Are you also cleaning them out with saline or diluted betadine?
