banding

Question
I recently bought a conure, and it came with no papers, but a band on its foot, the band reads: MWA then CNT (sidways) then 204, where can I find out what this means?

I forgot to ask...are you in the USA or other?  What type of conure is your bird?  So far, I haven't been successful finding anything with these initials, but I'm still looking.

Let me do some research and I'll get back to you.  These initials could be the initials of the breeder, they could be the initials of a Club, a conure society, etc.  The number 204 is likely the breeder's bird number, but could also signify something else.  Usually, the year of birth is sideways, so this is a bit confusing, but a breeder can have whatever they want inscribed on their bands.  I might be able to help, maybe not, but I'll get back to you in the next day.
