Handicap Parrotlet

Question
I have a handicap parrotlet his name is Petrie. They say he is a star gazer. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to help him function better and what kind of toys to get him. Should I get him enrichment toys or puzzles? Also would another bird help him? B/c every time he is with another bird he gets so happy and he just cuddles up with them.

What kind of handicap does Petrie have and how severe is this handicap?
Parrotlets love puzzles.  They are very smart birds and they love things that they can untie and take apart.
As far as getting another bird goes, that is up to you.  If you think that Petrie would like a companion, and you have the time for another bird and resources, then take him to pick out a companion him.  Remember that just because he might like a companion that you might bring home doesn't meant that the companion will like Petrie, so you'll want to get a companion that will be suitable.
