male parakeets death

My bird has just had 2 babies and the father died three days after, this has happened before. why did this happen? WAS i suppose to seperate the male from the babies and mother?

Hello Sandy,

Only a necropsy performed by an avian veterinarian can tell you why your bird died. I recommend that you have all of your birds examined immediately by your avian veterinarian as all your birds may be suffering from the same disease.
