Question
I have a pair of Fischer's Lovebirds. They make lot of noice throught the day. What way the noise can be controlled.  How can they be trained to make less noise? Would be grateful if you could kindly advise.

Answer
Hi, Uday.

You can't control the amount of noise a parrot makes.  If you have problems with noise, you need to select a type of parrot that isn't as noisy (all parrots are nosiy to some extent...this is just the way parrots are).  If you need to control noise at bedtime, remove all light from the birds and cover their cage.  Birds need about 12 hours of sleep per night, so when it's time for bed, cover the cage and turn off their lights.
