chinchillas and ferrets together

hi well i have a question... do chinchillas and ferrets get along? i have a ferret and a really want to get a chinchilla as a pet would it be safe if i kept them together in the same big cage or even in the same room? do they make good play mates for each other?can you please answer this question A.S.A.P and e-mail the answer to me at stephanie_shelswell-13@hotmail.com

   No, no, no, a thousand times no. A ferret will kill a chinchilla. In fact, a ferret will kill most other pets, including mice, rats, hamsters, rabbits, and other small animals. I wouldn't even want to keep them in the same house with other pets. The can even give cats a hard time. Please don't put them together.
