Is she really pregnant?

Ginny My fancy mouse Ginny has been with Harry for almost 2 weeks. I removed her from his cage and put her into her own cage not too long ago. Any way I suspect that it's day 16 of Ginny's pregnancy and she only grew a bit more chubby than usual. Is this because she just got a little fatter or are we just dealing with a small litter?

Dear Jenn,

She looks plenty pregnant to me. Mice often don't show a whole lot until the last few days. In my experience an average litter is 8 pups, though I have had the gamut from 1 to 18! She could be carrying that many.

She looks plenty healthy, too. Have fun with the babies!
