saline?

Hi Natasha,

Planning to give you an update on Luna & ask your opinion on her...but I have to ask you this, because I'm feeling sketchy about it.

I've had someone tell me it's ok to put a tiny drop of saline on her nose for congestion.  I was told just very tiny and it won't hurt her.  I have heard horror stories about mice aspirating one drop of a liquid and dying on the spot.

I would like to hear your opinion.

Hi Frankie,

I would never introduce a liquid to a mouse's nose. If she is sick she needs to go to the vet. Mice don't get colds like we do; when they get sick they need antibiotics.
