Question1.Well my hermit crab 'bashful' is buried under the sand and this hole keeps appearing above him and i think its the cave 'caving in'.2.How do i make a moss pit i have a 10 gallon tank and i already have the moss i just need help with wat i need and how to make it.3.Do you know where i can get tuna or anykind of fish packet WITHOUT salt.Ive done lots of research and i know alot of things about hermit crabs im just confused about some things.Thank you.
Answer1. yes, the cave is caving in. I would make your sand/ee a little more moist to keep that from happening and possibly a little deeper.
2. You can get a suction cup soap dish from target, they make GREAT moss pits! Make sure you soak your moss in salt water and microwave for 1 minute to kill any eggs that might be in it!
3. I do not. I buy silversides at the fish store as well as shrimp. You can also buy shrimp in a can and can o snails, can o bugs, etc from the reptile section of the pet store and these have no added salt
