Nipping

Question
My guinea pig is wonderful.  He kisses me and just loves it when I take him out for exercise.  However, when I am walking back to his cage with him, he starts nipping at my fingers.  Is he trying to tell me to not put him back in the cage?  It's not hard, but hard enough to get my attanetion.

Answer
When they are full of excitment, they dont like to be handled, he just wants to keep running and playing. It is normal for piggies to be moody and do things like that. The best advice I can give for him to stop is whatever you do dont let him get his way. If he bites you, so you give him what he wants he will know to keep doing it. If you showno attention and continue to put him in his cage, he will see it dosent work and he might stop. Thanks!
