guinea pigs + rabbits

i have got two questions:1. I have a pet female guinea pig and a male rabbit that get along really well. the rabbit loves human company but the guinea pig runs away every time someone comes near i bought her from a shop when she was little so i think im her first proper owner and i got her at the beginning of summer this year is there a way of getting her used to people??????

2. do you think i should get it another female guinea pig to keep her company/ i thought this was a good idea at first but i now think shes too shy to dominate another one and it would make the rabbit lonely. what do you think i should do?

I understand your point about your two pets getting on but you really need to separate them as they are two different species with different food requirements and a rabbit can easily injure a piggy.

With that in mind another female piggy would be good.

Handling your pig regularly will help her to become tame.
