hamster back legs

Question
My daughter was playing with her hamster and he fell from the bed about a foot down to carpet.  He does not seem to be in pain because he lets me hold him and Iv'e put him in a cardboard box with fabric to watch.  He just pulls himself around on fronts as his back legs have no movement.  He's not making any noises at all and eyes look good.  Just no hind leg movements at all. Is he paralyzed or is this temporary?  HELP

Sometimes it can be temporary, as trauma from a fall can have this effec. If there is no change within one day though i would recommend taking him to see a vet, as it maybe that he has damaged his back legs and can't move them!!
