How many hours should my hamster sleep a day?

Answer
There is no set amount for a hamster to sleep, they can sleep the entire day just getting up to get a drink, or just sleep half the day. They are awake at night so you won't be awake when your hamster is most of the time. Mine sleeps most of the day, and I rarely catch him awake.
