Answer
Hi Britnee,

It sounds like your hamster may have wet tail.  Wet tail disease is not uncommon in younger hamsters, especially new hamsters that have just been brought to a new home.  It causes the hamster to have diarrhea, and the hamster stops eating, drinking, and exercising.  Wet tail is often fatal if left untreated, so you should take your hamster to the vet as soon as possible.  Hopefully, your vet will be able to treat her, especially since you've discovered that your hamster had the disease so soon.  (There are over-the-counter medicines for wet tail disease, but these are ineffective.)

Don't forget to update me on how your hamster is doing!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask :)
