What are the basic supplys needed for keeping a ferret? Is high quailty kitten food just as good as ferret food?

Answer
You will need a litter pan.  Litter with NO clay in it.  A water bottle.  You will need a cage of course.  Do not buy a small cage.  A hammock is good to and a few toys.  I always buy cat toys.  You should also get some ferret shampoo or baby shampoo for it.  As for food, some kitten food is okay but always check the labels and buy the one with the most protein.
