Stepped on ferret

I feel horrid my baby fuzzy likes to play under my long skirts and usually i always pay attention. I was talking on the phone though and she ran under there and i stepped on her! She ran under my dresser and layed down. She seems to be able to move fine but just wants to lay and sleep... she even refuses her favorite treats. I was debating taking her to the vet but my vet doesn't seem very compitant when it comes to my fuzzy. Is a sleepy lazy ferret normal after being in a stressfull situation?

I'm sorry about your little ferret, but the good news is they seem very delicate but aren't really that delicate.  I have 22 ferrets now and I have accidently stepped on mine.  My husband has too.  I've never had one be hurt from it.  They usually do go and lay around after as they get scared and stressed.  Yes, sleepy, lazy is normal after being stressed.  Just watch her and if she isn't better today then take her to your vet.
