ANSWER: If you look at their stomach, a male ferret will have what seems like a belly button, but is his penis.  A female will not have anything.

If you look at their stomach, a male ferret will have what seems like a belly button in the middle.  When he urinates, this is where it comes from and this is his penis.  A female has nothing on her stomach area and her urine comes from the same end as her feces.
