Ferretone

Question
i just got my very first ferret on wed. all she came with was a cage,
bedding, food and her, nothing else. not even a litter box!!!!! but i
 have been working with her on that and she doing REALLY well with it...
any way i read that it is a VERY good idea to give them Ferretone, it
says its for skin and fur, but i thought it was for hairballs and to
help them not get stuff caught in their intestines and cause a blockage.
is that true or do i have to buy something else to help that problem???
please help i don't really want that to happen to her!!!!!......

Ferretone is great to use to distract them they need their nails cut.  Ferretlax is used for hairballs, but I have never used it.  Since you are new to the ferret world, Ferrets For Dummies will be a great book for you to buy.  It will help you make food choices, play time choices and it is an all round great resource.
