back leg problems

Question
hello there, just about 3-4 days ago my ferret, Oprah, has been struggling on her back two legs. she's about 6 years old and maybe it's a joint issue or even an age issue. i'm not sure what the life expectancy is for a ferret. i looked at her toes and one of them seems to be bent to the side a bit. broken maybe but i figure she would squeel or move in discomfort but she does niether so i can only assume that's not the case. regardless, she can't walk on all fours. she wabbles and pulls herself by her front legs alone.

Answer
hello,
Thank you for your question. It is truly impossible for me to decipher what would be the problem with your ferret, it could be any number of things from arthritis to a spinal cord problem. I would definitely take her to the vet. A
PS~ a ferret's life expectancy is about 8-10 years.
