I have 2 fuzzies.Male and Female.I have a pool and just wanted to know if the chlorine will harm there skin.

Hi Ginnnae,

Some, most actually, ferrets do not like water. Do your ferrets like water or does it scare them? If you're not sure if they like it or not, put them in a little bit of standing water in your bathtub to check and see how they respond to water. If they like it, then you can try with the pool but FIRST - you have to check the chlorine and acid levels of the water. If the water is too acidic or has too high chlorine levels, then it will irritate the ferret's eyes. Personally, I wouldn't put my ferrets in a chlorinated pool because on top of chlorine and acid levels, you have to worry about all the body oils and sweat and things like that in the pool and the water would probably dry out the ferret's skin really bad so that might make them extra smelly. Personally, I wouldn't put them in a pool, but its up to you. If you put them in, don't put them in for more than a few minutes - I would say absolutely no more than ten.
