Yorkie question

I have a 4year old Yorkie Male. When we come across other dogs, he wants to jump and bite them. We let the two dogs sniff each other, but mine always take the firse nip. Why is this? He is a smart dog, trains really easy with other things. How can I train him not to bite all the dogs we meet.

I don't have enough information to give you a concrete answer. My guess would be that he is showing protectiveness towards you. If that is the case, then he is not as well trained as you might like to think.

Your best bet would be to keep him away from other dogs since you know he shows aggression.
