Question
hello my name is nick and ive got my 10 week old nanook who is being creat trained now lol and he barks wile hes in it. why does he do that ?

Answer
Dogs generally hate to be alone, ignored, or isolated from the active areas of the household.  Don't make the mistake of acknowledging him while he is barking in the crate.  Don't talk, say no, make eye contact, or squirt him.  Instead, just ignore him until he quiets on his own.  Once he does, you can let him out.  He will soon learn that barking gets him nothing, and being quiet gets you to come to him. If you learn clicker training, you can reward him for being quiet, even from the next room, by clicking (then following up quickly with a treat).
www.clickerlessons.com will get you started, but make sure to sign up for a puppy class quickly.  His optimal socialization period is between the ages of 8-12 weeks, 16 weeks at the outside.  If you have a positive training facility close by, they may take very young puppies.  My own pup went to class when she was 10 weeks old.
