Bull Boxer chews everything

Hi, i have a bull boxer roughly a year old (a rescue).  We got him at about 4 months old and he wasn't house broken.  We managed to crate train him but he now can chew himself out of the crate.  we only put him in there when we are not home.  if he manages to get out, he chews anything in sight from food to christmas decorations.  Is there any way to stop him from chewing or any crate out there that is indestructable?

If you have a local training center you may want to contact them about availability of lessons at your home to help your dog get over the desire to break out of the crate.
