Question
Its me again,
My 4 year old little yorkie has another issue I hope you can help me with,

he becomes very aggressive towards things such as shoes, or even bags around the floor, if someone goes toward the shoe that he finds he will growl and bite them, same goes with if he sits somewhere.. if someone tries to move him he does the same behavior, its almost as though he acts as though those things belong to him, is there a way i can fix this behavior?

Answer
Hello again!

Quick answer to a very involved problem.

He thinks he owns you.  He thinks he is the alpha in your house.  Don't coddle him too much or treat him like a baby and it will help (if you are doing that)

When he does this behavior with objects, take your hand and lightly pinch his side (like you are biting him a little) and make a sharp sound with your mouth such as AHH! BAH! or CHH!  When he does this behavior while sitting somewhere, make a noise, and put him on the floor.  I really actually suggest not allowing him on the couch or bed during training at all.

You can fix the problem, but it will take work.

have a great day!
