getting my 14 week old GSD into a vehicle.

My 14 wk old German Shepherd has a problem with vehicles.  Any time you walk close to one, he freezes and tries to back away.  How can I correct this, so that it will make it easier to take him to the vet and training classes?

Thank you for your question.
I would advise for your to visit training class so you and dog receive on hand training and support for this problem.

The basic advise I can give you is to reward ALL positive behaviours around vehicles with a reward.  Ignore all nervous behaviours shown round vechicels.  This is so you do not inadvertently reward your dogs nervous behavior and make him think there is a need to feed nervous.
