Maltipoo Pup

Thank you, I was really getting myself worked up.  All the pictures I see online don't show tear stained maltipoos so I was thinking we got one with a real problem.  I appreciate the help.  She is adorable, and I will take her to a vet right away!  Thanks again & Happy Holidays!!

I have been looking for a Maltipoo pup because I want a small dog that does not shed.  They are hard to find in Phoenix and I visited several "Puppy Mills" that were scary.  Finally we found a family that had 3 pups, while we wanted the male he was taken and we took the smallest of the litter a female.  What we didn't notice till this morning is that her eyes are runny and she has discoloration on the hair from the eye drainage. Actually we noticed it but didn't realize how noticeable it is.  We bought a product at PetSmart that is supposed to help clean the stain off the hair but now I am afraid that I may have paid for a puppy that isn't well.  I'm really concerned about this and don't know whether I am overreacting.  I have 4 kids that already fell in love with Daisy.  Am I in trouble???

Hello, Well small long coated breeds are very common to tear stains and tend to tear more then other breeds the best thing you can do for a newly bought puppy is take her to a vet right away for just a check up if she isnt yet due for her next vaccine, if she is eating/drinking/sleeping/playing/pee/pooing fine and is normaly active while awake and playing then she should be fine and this is likely jsut tear stained.
