My newly adopted dog wont poop

Hello,
This may be a little too premature, but I adopted a young medium sized female mutt, as sweet as can be. She's good at peeing, although she is still excited with her new surroundings, but I don't know how often a new dog should poop? It's been one night and a half and she hasn't gone. Do they poop everyday? I feed her in the morning, and two hours before bedtime...provide water all day.

Hello, Well my dogs poop several times daily theya re all adults and on a good diet which cotains no byproducts and not many corn/wheat fillers. If she does not go soon you can give her a smidge of canned food or add a bit of vegetable/canola/mineral oil to her food...just a small amount like half a teaspoon should get things working well.
