Question
We have a 10 year old male Jack Russell. We recently acquired a 10 week old female YorkiePoo. The Jack has always been very aggressive to other dogs. We are concerned that he may harm or kill the puppy if we allow them to come in contact. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Michael;
Is the JR neutered?
If not, that will hlp the aggression some.
Training is most effective.
If he has been trained, and this has not cured the aggression, then it may be an anxiety problem.
Most aggression seems to be just a mean dog, but usually is an anxiety problem.
They show aggression first, so as to warn not to mess with me, I am tough.
Animal massage is very effectivve in fixing this problem in a short time.
Go to this site and read what can be done with the massages.
You can order a video to teach you how to do the massages.
Usually a 15 or so minute massage will calm them, and they can be around other dogs or people whithou feeling threatened, and so, not having to be aggressive.
A few time of massaging can fix the problem permanently.
He is up in years and has been aggressive for some time, so it may take a little longer to be completely cured of the anxiety, but each time you massage and he calms down, he gets closer to healing.
