puppy just lays around

Is it normal for my 5 month old terrier/min. Eskimo to just lay around all day when its hot? She is drinking and eating but I am afraid theres something wrong. She is usually very active.

While there certainly could be something wrong, lying around during times of extreme heat is pretty normal for all of us if we don't live in air conditioning. Mine tend to lie in front of a fan that is blowing full-speed.

As long as she is eating and drinking, she is probably just fine (although some dogs do go off their feed during hot weather). You might try taking her temperature (normal is 100-102), and if that is okay, I wouldn't worry about her.
