bringing dogs into season

I have a caviler king charles female .She is a year and 3 months and hasnt come into heat yet.When should she come into heat?IS there anything to bring her into heat?

Hello Kevin, Usually a dog comes into heat at approx. 9 months to one year, she may have had a small heat the first time and it was not apparent.  If that was the case then 6 months later she would come in heat again.  Being around another dog in heat has sometimes brought a female into heat.  Give her a little time just in case the first heat was missed.  Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
