Can my newly adopted learn to do restroom inside rather than walking in the rain, I have been sick 6-8 weeks with cold, then bronchitis now the flu.  I think that my dog is now sick too.  I need to teach her that in emergency that it is ok to do the restroom inside is okay.

It's always possible to teach a dog something new, it really depends on your commitment, how much time you devote to training.

The common cold and influenza virus found in humans cannot be transmitted to a dog, and vice versa. If you think your dog is now ill, you should have your vet examine her, as a repertory infection can be just as serious in a dog, as it is for a human.
