Answer
Hi Lorna,
YES, the outside dog is most certainly bringing in the fleas and ticks.  The best thing I have found to get rid of them is to put Advantage or Frontline on them.  You can buy this from a vet or online. It may cost a little bit, but believe me, it WILL get rid of your problem.  The way it works is that you put a few drops on the back of the neck, or you can even buy it in chewable tablets. When the fea bites the dog, it will kill the flea.  Eventually, and quickly, you will have no more fleas.  I buy a spray bottle online, and just squirt a few times close to the skin on the back of the neck.  You can use this on both dogs, even cats. It's quite safe.    Here is the phone number of Care-Lot Veterinary Supply, you can request a catalog or tell them what you want.  1-800-343-7680, or go online to www.carealotpets.com    A small bottle of Frontline will be about $30.00 with s&h,but it will last you ALL summer long and maybe still have some left over.  It is worth the price.

God Bless,
Becky
