rescued border terrier mix marking house

I have 2 rescued dogs both are neutered. I've had the older one (Portuguese water dog - probably) about 6 yrs.  The terrier/pug mix for about 4 mo. He's approx 18 mo old. I walk them 6-7 times a week for 1-2 miles.  The terrier marks in the house about once or twice per week (that I am aware of). Thank God for hardwood floors.  Help

Well first it may be a health problem-so you may want to have him looked at by your vet

And if he is fine,what you need to dog is get a crate,and keep him in there all the time except to go outside,to get fed,to go for a walk to be played with and to take him somewhere-and do this for about three weeks then slowly let him out more,and if he goes back to making accidents put him back in the crate for a week

Crating is the best way to house train a dog-as they will tend to keep sleeping areas clean,and it isn't cruel and is recommended by a lot of shelters
