4yr likes to masterbate

my 4yr fixed pomeranian masterbates all the time with his mouth and gets his whole thingy out i yell and tell him no and now he hides and does it its so gross,when i yell at him sometimes he can't even get up because it's so out there,and now he stilling my 8month old daughters toys and doing it to them,how do i stop it?

Sometimes when a dog starts this behavior, for any reason, it can become a habit. Yelling at him will do nothing for this, but could create other, possible worse, behaviors.

You need to quietly distract him when you see him doing this. Call him over and have him sit, lie down, fetch, do some trick or other, and reward him; maybe give him a bone to chew on. Vary what you have him do to keep it interesting for him. *Anything* is better than what he was doing!

If he should be doing this behavior because of irritation or itching in the genital area, he needs to be seen by the veterinarian for medical treatment.
